Active ingredients:

Bala (Sida cordifolia). Translates from Sanskrit to mean ‘power’ and is a widely used medicinal plant in Ayurveda to balance the fire earth and water elements (pitta vata kapha dosha) of the body. Bala is a powerful tonic that boosts immunity increases stamina and reduces lethargy. Bala accelerates the body’s regenerative processes to heal ulcers and other wounds and lacerations. Bala contains powerful alkaloids that act on the body’s own ephedrine to revitalise the central nervous system and replenish the vascular function and oxygenation of the spinal cord. Bala is also a useful treatment for skin disorders.

Cotton tree (Bombax malabaricum). Has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties and causes blood to coagulate which is crucial for the healing of wounds.

Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Calms and regulates the air fire and water elements (vatta pita and kapha doshas) of the body. Liquorice root is anti-inflammatory and cleanses the blood revitalises the nervous system and optimises heart function. It aids the healing of skin diseases and reduces the pain of headaches.

Yellow jasmine (Chlorophytum tuberosum). A relatively rare medicinal plant used as an aphrodisiac and is sometimes referred to as a herbal version of ‘viagra’. Yellow jasmine has a healing effect on diabetes reduces inflammation and boosts immunity to improve overall vitality.

Dosage: 1 tablet morning and evening 1 hour after meals. Do not exceed the recommended dose. A typical course of Menosan can take 12-18 months. It is strongly recommended to use Menosan under the direction of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner.
