Active ingredients:

Maharasnadi quath (Maharasnadi quath). Generic trade name for an Ayurvedic preparation that acts on the nervous and musculoskeletal system to improve vata (Ayurvedic humour) and remove toxins from the blood. Its anti-inflammatory properties treat gastrointestinal disorders (flatulence irregularity etc) and is useful to heal respiratory ailments (asthma chronic cough etc). In men’s health Maharsnadi treats UTIs and boosts sperm count aiding fertility. It is useful in the treatment of female reproductive system ailments too. It relieves joint pain and associated ailments such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Maharasnadi treats neurological disorders such as sciatica and spondylosis and other kinds of mild facial and other paralysis. It improves the entire cardiovascular system.

Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia). Known in Ayurveda as the nectar of immortality due to its incredible rejuvenating effects. It stabilises liver function to improve overall blood quality thus removing toxins. Its restorative power of all the body’s organs slows the ageing process and treats even chronic diseases such as hepatitis tuberculosis and diabetes. Boosting the immune system Guduchi builds resistance to disease staving off infections whilst relieving the pain associated with chronic and acute viral fever headaches anaemia jaundice and infections of the genitourinary tract. Even arthritis is benefitted by use of Guduchi. Skin diseases such as acne psoriasis eczema erysipelas and general itchiness caused by rashes can be healed by Guduchi. Even leprosy can be treated with this miraculous herb!

Amla (Emblica officinalis). 100 g of Amla has 30 times more vitamin C than an orange. Amla strengthens bones teeth revitalises hair improving metabolism and digestion by cleansing toxins from the liver whilst removing heavy metals and free radicals. It aids heart health by stabilising blood sugar levels.

Yashtimadhu (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Has anti allergenic properties and balances the body’s doshas (humours). It acts as an anti-inflammatory cleansing the blood nourishing the nervous system and protecting the heart. Yashtimadhu heals skin disorders asthma chronic and acute bronchitis headaches and even tuberculosis. It is also an aphrodisiac.

Guggul (Commiphora mukul). A resin extracted from the Tolu tree used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine. It is a cleansing agent that removes stones slags etc from the kidney to rejuvenate the entire body by regulating the functions of the body’s vital systems. Guggul balances metabolism reduces cholesterol and stimulates the thyroid. By increasing the white blood cell count in the blood guggul acts on tumours to relieve swelling. It also enhances the efficacy of other herbs and minerals used in combination with it.

Trikatu (Trikatu). An Ayurvedic blend of three plants: black and long pepper and ginger. This combination stimulates the body by boosting immunity and cleansing the digestive system whilst improving metabolism. It facilitates weight-loss by stimulating digestion and promotes a healthy appetite. It treats nausea and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties that are a general calmative tonic for the body.

Dosage: boosting immunity 2 tablets twice daily before eating. Respiratory ailments 2 tablets twice daily 1.5 hours before eating. Kidney/excretory system inflammation 2 tablets twice daily after eating. Increase dosage to 2 tablets thrice per day in cases of pharyngitis.

Children 1 tablet per day. Septilin should only be used under supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner.

Contraindications: should not be used when pregnant or lactating. Children under 6 should avoid use. Check individual tolerances.
