Shatavari also regulates the gastrointestinal tract. Shatavari contains phytosterols to normalise the body’s own hormones required in menstruation and reproduction along with saponin and asparagine to improve the heart’s function of pumping blood. Dosage: 1-3 tablets 1-2 times daily with food. A 10 day break is necessary after 20 days of prolonged use. Shatavari must be used under supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner.
