Triphala cleanses the gastrointestinal tract the liver gall bladder spleen and pancreas by increasing enzymatic production necessary in the conversion of food into essential nutrients by metabolic ingestion. Triphala is a rich source of vitamin C and an ideal dietary supplement that revitalises the body and mind by clearing auras to regulate the chakras. In the ancient Indian sacred text Charaka-Samhita it is said that one who consumes triphala for a year will rid themselves of all disease and live to 100 years of age!
Active ingredients:
Amla (Emblica officinalis). 100 g of Amla has 30 times more vitamin C than an orange. Amla strengthens bones teeth revitalises hair improving metabolism and digestion by cleansing toxins from the liver whilst removing heavy metals and free radicals. It aids heart health by stabilising blood sugar levels.
Haritaki (Terminalia chebula). A herb that slows the effects of ageing. It prevent hair greyness improves sight and memory and heals respiratory and digestive ailments. It boosts immunity and restores intestinal flora. It has a mild laxative effect.
Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica). Regulates vata dosha removes stones from the digestive tract and is useful in the treatment of numerous ailments. It rejuvenates the body by its anthelminthic calming properties.
Dosage: 1-2 tablets before bedtime and 1 tablet early morning 1 hour before meals taken with warm water or milk. It is suggested to continue use for 50 days. Use under supervision of an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Contraindications: avoid use if experiencing diarrhoea or dysentery. Children under 3 and adults over 70 years of age should avoid use.
Composition: each 250 mg tablet contains: Amla (Emblica officinalis), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica).
Recommended use: cardiovascular ailments; constipation; diabetes; digestive disorders; malabsorption (abnormal inability to uptake nutrients from food); eyesight disorders; imbalanced dosha; metabolic impairment; obesity; toxin accumulation in the blood; high blood pressure; hair greying and hair loss; post surgery recovery; stomach ulcers.
