Containing the resin of the Guggul tree Yograj Guggulu acts powerfully to eliminate cholesterol and toxins at the cellular level. Its non-toxic action eliminates insoluble salts in the body thus improving blood circulation. All tissues and joints are benefited by Yograj Guggulu and pain and swelling in such regions are quickly alleviated.
Yograj Guggulu is recommended to be used in combination with the Ayurvedic preparation ‘Trikatu’.
Active ingredients:
Guggul (Commiphora mukul). Guggul resin is a resin extracted from the Tolu tree used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine. It is a cleansing agent that removes stones slags etc from the kidney to rejuvenate the entire body by regulating the functions of the body’s vital organs. Guggul balances metabolism reduces cholesterol and stimulates the thyroid. By increasing the white blood cell count in the blood guggul acts on tumours to relieve swelling. It also enhances the efficacy of other herbs and minerals used in combination with it.
Ghee oil (Ghee). It contains a high in vitamins A D and E not found in other oils. It contains linoleic acid that helps replenish cells of the tissues and organs. Ghee does not contain lactic acid so may be consumed by those with lactose intolerance. Besides being rich in vitamins Ghee is loaded with minerals such as calcium potassium sodium phosphorus iron and magnesium. Whilst higher in caloric index than other oils Ghee does not overburden the liver but rather boosts its efficacy as it is not cholesterol forming. Ghee further boosts the thyroid and pancreas function.
Himalayan cedar (Cedrus deodara). A tree with powerful antibacterial properties. Useful in the treatment of joint ailments such as rheumatism skin and respiratory disorders. It boosts the healing of ulcers.
Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris). Acts on the genitourinary system the liver kidney and bone joints. It removes excess body fluids balancing the vata dosha. It aids in the removal of kidney stones and acts as a liver tonic. Gokshura calms nervous disorders and treats diabetes effectively.
Nagarmotha (Cyperus rotundus). A tonic rejuvenating the entire body. It heals respiratory complaints and eliminates slags and toxins. It is a strong antioxidant protecting the body from harmful free radicals. It slows the ageing process improves vision and boosts immunity. Nagarmotha improves digestion and aids in the uptake of essential vitamins and minerals by boosting metabolic processes.
Dosage: 1-2 tablets twice daily after meals. Continue use for 3 to 5 months or as directed by a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner.
Contraindications: consider individual tolerances. Avoid use when pregnant and lactating. Children under 12 should avoid use. Those suffering from certain forms of colitis pronounced ulcers or non-specific ulcerative colitis should avoid use. Those suffering from pyelonephritis and glomerulonephritis should avoid use. It is strongly recommended to use Yograj Guggulu under strict supervision of a qualified Ayruvedic practitioner.
